Sinus Augmentation – 401

Course Overview

This 2-day course is intended for general practitioners or specialists who would like to be able to place dental implants under the maxillary sinus and not use the lateral window approach. Various methods of sinus augmentations will be discussed, however, this course will focus primarily on the Hydraulic Sinus Condensing technique developed by the lecturer, Dr. Leon Chen, MS or Dr. Jennifer Cha. This technique is taught step by step with the new armamentarium required for the procedure. Possible membrane perforation management is discussed as well as other possible complications and how to manage the potential complications. We will view live surgery videos for discussion and perform hands-on practice on pig jaws. Attendees are welcome to bring potential cases for discussion.

Course Objectives:

  • Hydraulic Sinus Condensing technique
  • Placing implants under the maxillary sinus without performing an osteotome
  • Managing possible sinus membrane perforation
  • Managing potential complications

Basic Fundamentals of Implant Dentistry – 101

Course Overview

After completing this course, you will be able to create a treatment plan for dental implants and perform dental implants at your current clinical practice. You will become as comfortable using implant dentistry in your daily treatment as you are placing a filing. Have a more thorough understanding of dental implant therapy which will ultimately improve overall care for your patients.
Learn how to not only place implants on healed bone, but recognize complications, and understand how implant dentistry will increase the production and profitability of your practice. We will view live surgery videos, perform hands-on practice on pig jaws, and go over the basic anatomy and biology for implanting. Attendees are welcome to bring potential cases for discussion.

Course Objectives:

  • Place dental implants on healed bone with comfort, easy, and confidence
  • Be familiar with the basics of dental implant anatomy and biology
  • Recognize possible complications and how to address them
  • How to implement dental implant treatment plans to your practice

Dominican Republic Workshop & Health Brigade

3-day Hands-on Live Surgical training and health brigade in the Dominican Republic!

Objectives

Come join us in the beautiful Dominican Republic at the Be Live beachfront hotel for some sun, fun, and hands-on education! This course is intended for both general practitioners and specialists.  This intensive 3-day hands-on course & health brigade will be centered around learning to place implants on at least 6 cases.  Because this is a health brigade as well, you will be required to 1. attend the sinus augmentation course on January 19th in Las Vegas, 2. purchase an Osseofuse Surgical kit, which you can pick up at the sinus course, 3. donate a certain amount of Osseofuse dental Implants towards brigade and 4. bring bone.

Course Objectives:

  • Simple, effective technique for 1-drill implant
  • Placing implants under the maxillary sinus
  • Managing potential complications and sinus membrane perforation
